“I am a Muslim woman, we lived in a mud room with no electricity, no outer boundary wall for protection and the front of our house was often flooded with sewage water from the village. I hesitantly started a business of making quilts and pillows and thankfully now each month I earn over PKR 30000. We have built a protection wall around our house, we have electricity in our house and no more sewage water. And most of all my children are going to school”. During the meeting the husband came and thanked the Award and PPI team for the support that was given to them.
