Women, children, and elderly people are among the most affected. Poor people living in remote rural areas who are already under dynamic pressures of the poor socioeconomic situation are the most neglected and needy in the recent crisis. If the effects of the recent floods are not-left managed in time, the secondary effects can be even worse.
