The story should illustrate how the outcomes of the JR have resulted in change for the affected population.Mola Bakhsh was burdened with a heavy responsibility, caring for his two blind sisters, Fatima (50 years) and Murad Khatoon (53 years), as well as his elderly blind brother, Ali Abbas (72 years). The family lived in a small mud house in the village of Rang, Union Council Wahur, and relied on the kindness of their fellow villagers for their survival. Even before the floods of 2022, life had been challenging for them, but the disaster made things even worse. Their already-vulnerable home was washed away, and they lost everything they had. However, a local community support group connected them with the PPI cash assistance project. The family received 50,000/- PKR as cash assistance, which not only provided them with financial support but also gave them hope for a better future. With this money, they were able to rebuild their home and meet some of their basic needs. The family was overjoyed with the assistance and grateful for the support they received during their time of need.
